This is the first part I would add to any 1911. You can feel the difference once you install this part. It makes the slide cycle smoother. You'll have to use an allen wrench (supplied) to take the gun apart for cleaning, but that's a small price to pay for the improvement.

If your 1911 is a cheaper one or doesn''t already have one of these, you need one! The difference is clear! Noticable the first time you pull the slide back.
