The gun is very hard to grab out of the holster, which is good if somebody else tries to grab it out. My tip to an easy draw with this holster is to push down on the casing with your thumb to keep the whole paddle from coming out of your pants when drawing. I almost got rid of the thing until I tried this out because the gun would come out with the paddle still attached. I use it mainly for target shooting and hunting so i don''t know if it conceals well
