This gun is excellent. Colt has improved the roll mark that was horrible. The trigger was not very good for me as I do not like the long trigger and replaced mine with a short SS finish that now looks and feels great. I just ordered a Colt arched MSH as I hate flat MSH Assembly''s. I have owned many Colts over the years and this is just as good as my 1943,only difference is the history is not there but this is a shooter not a collector. The FP safety that make this a series 80 are not a problem and the purest who do not like it well, it can all be removed in about ten min. and not affect the gun. Some people would not be happy if you shot them with a gold bullet. Do I use this for CCW? No its too big. I use a Taurus 738 and do I use it for home defense? No, not that it would not work well, but I am of the mind that when I need fire power I want more than 7 rounds and I keep My M&P with 17 rds near by. But I would not feel ill equiped with this gun. I love colts and the history behind them. to me if its not a colt its a copy.

I am a United States Marine. It is my opinion that this is the Handgun you want to arm yourself with! I use Chip McCormick 10 round magazines. This firearm never fails me! At 25 yards, the enemy is history!

Use this as my first choice pistol for personal protection. Love the ease of use and design of this pistol. Service and shipping was fast. Top notch all around.
